Our Lady of Fatima University College of Medicine, a non-sectarian institution and currently one of the top medical schools in the Philippines, provides excellent medical
education modeled on the paradigm delivered in U.S. medical schools. The main campus of Our Lady of Fatima University, conveniently located in Valenzuela City, Manila, was founded in 1967 as a 20-bed general hospital.
In over forty years of providing medical education, the College has conferred an aggregate of over 15,000 degrees in the medical and allied health fields. The facilities of university campus, consisting of five
buildings, houses lecture halls, seminar and conference rooms, research and teaching laboratories, classrooms, amphitheater, library, administrative and academic offices as well as parking. The Our Lady of Fatima University College of Medicine is housed in an 11-story building, has fully air-conditioned lecture rooms and multi-disciplinary laboratories with audio/visual
equipment. The college's institutional partner, the 200-bed hospital in the Fatima Medical Center, is the pulse of the college campus. The medical center is complete with sophisticated and state of the art medical, diagnostic, and surgical equipment as well as a computer laboratory. The center serves as a teaching tertiary hospital, creating "hands-on classroom" experience and exposure, which provides the students with extensive patient care. English is
the language of class instruction; however, the College provides special language programs for foreign/international students. Graduates are practicing in hospitals throughout the United States, including New York, California, New Jersey, Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. These practitioners are specializing in psychiatry, internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics,
pathology, neurology, anesthesiology, orthopedic surgery, and emergency medicine. |
